Rangee or Airtable: which should you choose?
Both turn a spreadsheet into a database with interfaces. The difference lies in the price for your team, where your data lives and how you migrate.
Choose Rangee if…
- your data must stay in Europe, outside the Cloud Act, without going through an Enterprise plan;
- many people comment or view without editing;
- you want to open a read-only interface to your clients or partners, without a paid seat;
- your team prefers a European provider.
Airtable may suit you better if…
- your teams already use it widely and are at home with it;
- you depend on extensions and integrations from its ecosystem;
- you want several bases for free: Airtable's Free plan doesn't limit their number, Rangee's includes one.
The price for your team
Public prices on annual billing, read on 1 Nov 2026. Airtable bills in dollars and, according to its help centre, counts commenters as seats on Team. Read-only access is free on both.

The difference you don't see in a demo
An American company can be compelled to hand data over to its country's authorities, even when it is hosted in Europe. Rangee is a French company, with no American parent company or subprocessor for your bases: they fall under European law. The Cloud Act explained.
Moving from Airtable to Rangee in four steps
Your Airtable base stays intact during the transition: you switch over when your team is ready.

- 4
Open it to the team
